Oh man.

I really could not afford to get another Ticket on my record.

So when the cop Pulled me over,

I was going to do everything in my power to avoid the ticket.

Cop: Do you know why I pulled you over?

Me: No, but I Apologize if I may have done anything wrong inadvertently.

Cop: Well…you were Exceeding the legal speed limit back there.

Me: I apologize. I didn’t realize that.

I should have and will watch my speed much more closely.

Cop: There are pedestrians in the area.

Me: Yes and children playing. I wasn’t aware that I was exceeding the limit,

but I will be much more careful going forward.

Cop: Well…I should write you up for this.

Me: Again, I apologize. I will pay much closer attention to my speed.

Safety is paramount.

Cop: OK. Watch the speed. I’m going to let you off this time with a warning.

My wife: See dear, I told you had nothing to worry about.
