Mt. Blue is a landmark located in Cuntsville, Alabama. It can be seen from a distance of seventeen miles away, and is is the largest natural landmark in the state. Many people have gotten lost in the tunnels and caves of Mt. Blue, never to be heard from again. However, it's perfectly safe so long as you know which tunnels to avoid.

Mt. Blue has three main tunnels. There are two tunnels located at the base of the mountian. These are dubbed 'Ass' and 'Vagina'. There is one tunnel near the peak of the mountian, rather fittingly called 'Mouth', as anyone or anything that ventures inside is usually either never heard from again, or is found days later by the residents of Ass as a bloodied pile of bone and sludge. Blue, however experts agree that these have all been drawn by the natives in tribute to their Mother Blue.

Calling herself Mari, she told them stories about where she had come from and how she traveled to Earth to spread her wisdom. Having no way to leave the planet at that point, she went into a dormant state. The tribe built a town around Blue, which grew larger and larger until it became what it is today.
This legend actually is not far from the truth. Samples taken from the mountain indicate that it, indeed, came from space, though as a meteor, not as a sentient being.
