They're juniors at the University of California, Berkeley, at an age when most kids are nervous about just starting high school. Mayumi is 14, while her young Brother is 13.

They've already had three years at a community college. Now they're taking classes like philosophy and biochemistry.

Mayumi says they like Cal, but it's hard to get to class on time because the campus is so big.
