HOMELY & CUTE SCANDINAVIAN APARTMENT

Pastel pink is not a colour we see very often in a Nordic-style living space, but this homely and cute Scandinavian apartment shows us how it can add charm. Let’s visit this little family home in Sweden and get inspired.

This home is sweet with its soft shades and feminine touch. The quirky design details and art make it feel friendly and inviting while at the same time adding character. The beautiful wooden floor gives a natural sense, and I like the creative way they have divided up the bedrooms (which you will discover further down on the page).

I love that they placed the little wooden Kay Bojesen monkey hanging from the round pendant lamp over the dining table, such a fun and playful detail don’t you think?

The gallery wall with framed artwork around the TV helps to make the TV blend in with the environment. It is a great way to hide it and utilise every wall. The shelf and chair create a cozy corner for reading.

The home has two bedrooms – one for adults and one for a child – and a very smart solution for dividing these up; glass windows and a glass door. A cozy way to still feel connected with your little one even after they get their own room (but if it was me I would add curtains for a bit of privacy too.)

And how adorable is this balcony? Hello, melted snowman!
