What is lift & Slide Door?
Like the design of sliding doors in cars and vans, Lift N Slide Door Systems separate the sliding and sealing/ locking actions from each other. Lift and Slide allows the door panels to be lifted above that track and slide (roll) easily when opening or closing the door.
How does it work ?
Starting from the closed position, the door is locked and weather seals are engaged in compression. With a 180 degree turn of the door handle, the door unlocks, engaging the wheels and lifts up to approximately 13mm. This then allows sliding with little effort and without rubbing against the weather seals.
