Spillage from a fizzy Drink is one of the main and common reasons of carpet stains.

Below is step by step how to try and remove even the toughest stains from drinks with artificial colourants in them.

1)   Blot as much as possible without rubbing into the stain with a white, clean fabric such as a towel.

2) If the carpet is wool or man made material, then pour some lukewarm water on top and blot again till as dry as possible. This will help to dilute the chemicals / colouring from the original stain.

Some people recommend to use household cleaning products. We do not recommend this as most of the times the chemicals may make the stain worse.
