In this case, Fran Healy, one of our talented interior designers, worked closely with a client who wanted to refresh a dining room where the window treatment was a very dated swag and jabot. The client wanted to maximize the amount of light that came into the room while conveying the feeling of an elegant, British country house.

Our window treatment specialist, Jessica Deal Fadgen, came up with a more refined, contemporary version of a swag and jabot valance. She maximized the use of a gorgeous, high-end, embroidered sik fabric by incorporating a complementary geometric embroidered border to enhance the jabot. The valance was mounted to the soffit to maximize the light and still allow enough drop to show the richness of the fabric. The beautiful result speaks for itself!
