Gutter is very essential for a building. It serves as a functional way for water exit. It prevents flooding of our houses from extra water. If Gutter is not installed and maintained properly then it leads to degradation of building due to water seeping inside the walls. In rainy season after rain, if gutter is clogged, our house gets immersed in water. Bad water exit system results in water prone diseases in surrounding area. Better gutter installation prevents leakage in the building. Through the gutter system all the waste that a building produces flows out for a proper disposal. In the same process, waste materials get clogged in to gutter, which ultimately hinders the water disposal. Jamming of gutter has very bad aftereffects, the debris of waste piles up, which stinks and is not hygienic. If gutter is clogged, it reduces the capability of main sewage system due to which sanitation of city is hampered. If not cleaned properly, it can lead to flow of water back to our houses from the drainage system and then it is very complex and hectic to clean that mess. It is very essential to clean gutter regularly and keep unblocking the debris of waste. There are several problem caused by dirty and clogged gutters.



Basement and foundation are effected: If the gutter is clogged, it hampers the foundation of house. The foundation gets immersed in water because of overflow of water due to blocked gutter. This reduces the strength of the foundation and leads to cracks. As water peeps in basement leaks which weakens the overall structure of the house. The situation worsens during rainy days. That’s why it becomes very important to clean is regularly.
