The Ontario government has extended the Seniors Home Renovation Tax Credit, which we first told you about last year.  Read the government announcement.

The program will give seniors a 25% credit on up to 10,000 of eligible expenses, to help them live safely in their home.  Examples of qualifying expenses could include ramps, grab bars, lighting improvements, non-slip flooring, and many more.

Inspire Homes has completed many accessibility projects, including accessible showers and wheelchair ramps, and has two staff members with training in designing accessible spaces.
