Major Uses of Steam Cleaners

Steam cleaners are powerful Cleaning machines, particularly useful for removing dirt and stains from hard surfaces. Steam cleaning machines are not equipped with a high output pressure level. The cleaning power of these machines almost solely stems from the high output temperature, which depending on the model, can reach up to 386°F.

These machines are used to carry out a number of cleaning jobs. Below is an overview of the major uses of steam cleaners.

Cleaning Building Floors
Cleaning floors is a common use of steam cleaning machines. The high temperature output of the machine melts or dissolves stains, dirt, and other impurities from hard surfaces. These are used for floor cleaning in hotels, hospitals, shopping malls. An additional advantage of using steam cleaners is these machines can clean the surfaces as well as sanitize it, when equipped with Daimer®’s ATIS® anti-bacterial technology.

Cleaning Windows and Frames
Steam cleaning machines are used for cleaning windows and screens too. Daimer® provides a squeegee wand along with the machine to make the cleaning process easier.

Removing Chewing Gum
Steam cleaners are the most widely used cleaning machines to remove chewing gum pieces from public places, such as parks, stadiums, and shopping malls. The high temperature output of the machine melts the gum pieces. The vacuum attached with the sophisticated machines extract the molten gum residue.

Spot Cleaning Carpets
These machines can be used for spot cleaning carpets too. However, they are not ideal for cleaning large stretches of area.
