Caught on LaView – Real IP Camera Footage

We’ve put together a collection of some of the top IP camera clips from different situations to give you an example why security systems are so important. Bear Sighting: IP Camera Catches Backyard Visitor

The first thing that likely comes to mind for surveillance, is likely burglary. Though this is one of the most prevalent security issues, we are going to shift focus for a moment to another issue: animals.

We’ve had plenty of instances with animals showing up on people’s residential properties. Sometimes this is a cute occurrence. Conversely, as seen in the video below, what seems like a tranquil visit and a dip in the pool could have been a serious situation. Check out this video of a bear casually showing up in our client’s backyard:

As calm as this bear seems, imagine the implications of this video. This family needs to be vigilant of their surroundings when heading outdoors. This goes for anyone living in a rural community or on the fringes of mountainous areas. We have had plenty of videos submitted of coyotes or other creatures traipsing across people’s yards.

We’d like to point out that this family was extremely smart to have security solutions covering their property. Luckily, during this ordeal, they weren’t home. But with motion detection, they were able to stream their live footage on their phone when they received a push notification via our mobile app. They were shocked to find a giant bear casually hopping their fence as well as enjoying their pool.

The homeowners saw everything the bear did while on their property with their Ultra HD 4K Camera System. They benefited from the following features of this system:

  • Ultra HD 4K detailed clarity.
  • PIR thermal detection to catch the movement of humans and animals.
  • Up to 100ft IR night vision for 24/7 coverage

With this type of remote access, people in rural areas that are were once vulnerable to animal attacks have the upper hand. They can easily check their cameras on their mobile app before heading outside to ensure the safety of everyone involved.

Car Security: IP Camera Footage of Attempted Break-ins

One of the most common types of burglary is car theft. Beyond your home, generally speaking, your most valuable possession is your vehicle. For that reason, car security cameras are important to ensure the safety of your investment.

Take a look at this IP camera footage of this car thief looking for valuable possessions left in people’s cars:

This homeowner captured clear HD footage with their 1080P Bullet Camera System. As you can see, this car burglar brazenly walks up with his face half-covered and checks to see if he can easily access the interior of these cars. This is an extremely common occurrence in both urban and suburban settings.

Some Tips:

  • Our first tip in relation to this is ALWAYS lock your vehicle no matter where you park. Just like home burglaries, perpetrators simply try the door first to gain access. If you leave it the door open, you are granting people easy access to your make off with your personal belongings or even worse, your car!
  • Second tip is park in your driveway or in your garage if possible. As the clip shows, people are bold enough even to walk onto your driveway to try and steal. If you at least park on your driveway, then you can use IP camera solutions to watch over your vehicles.
  • Don’t leave visible possessions in your car. If people can see something lying on your seat, they are much more likely to try and steal from your car.

The HD 1080P system that the homeowner used did a great job of providing them with clear, detailed footage. If you are interested in a car security solutions, but want more flexibility with installation and features, here are a couple other great options: from there we have to look for other options in the IP camera line.

ONE Link Wireless Battery Camera System

If you don’t want wiring access to dictate your installation, try our ONE Link Wireless Battery Camera System. Each IP camera in this fully wirless system is optimized to synch to the Smart Station at the touch of a single button. So, wireless synching to your WiFi network is extremely easy. From there, you have a lot more flexibility for outdoor installation. Not only does the system feature long-distance WiFi transmission, but the cameras’ magnetic back make them easy to stick anywhere for the perfect view of your cars.

ONE Nova Floodlight IP Camera

Another thing to consider is deterrence. The ONE Nova Floodlight Camera combines an HD 1080P IP camera with 2 ultra-bright motion-triggered LED floodlights. This is perfect for installing above your garage, overlooking your driveway. With motion-activated LED’s flashing on, burglars will be deterred from breaking in!

Another great feature of the ONE Nova is the 270° PIR thermal detection. This means that the camera picks up the movement of humans and animals only. This would even be a great choice for the first situation with the bear!

Check out another example of a group of teens that try breaking into vehicles. Great IP camera footage! They would have run even faster if a ONE Nova was in place to flash on and scare them off!

Small Business IP Camera Coverage: Bike Thief Caught Red Handed

Our IP camera systems are ideal for commercial security as well. Check out this bike thief caught on our HD 4MP system implemented in this shop:

With this footage, the shop has a great case to take to the authorities! Because of the system’s exceptional IR night vision, they were able to get a great look at his face. If you are a business owner, there is nothing more important than protecting your employees as well as your property.

As you can see in the video, burglars will go to great lengths to gain access. This guy wanted to steal that valuable bike so badly that he broke the window of the shop!

We recommend at least HD 4MP resolution for businesses, with Ultra HD 4K systems as the top options.

Porch Pirates: Catching Package Thieves with IP Camera Solutions

In the following clip, we see a situation that happens all too often. In the ecommerce age, a huge  portion of homes in America receive deliveries right to their doorsteps. This makes for a prime target for porch pirates. Just see the video below:

This person casually strolls up and takes the package. Little did they know this customer had an HD 1080P camera system with a bullet IP camera pointing right at them.

This is absolutely sufficient for security the perimeter of your home. But when it comes to front door security, you can’t do better than our ONE Halo Doorbell Camera. This faces your front door at an ideal angle, records in pristine HD 3MP and employs both PIR thermal detection and color night imaging for total coverage!

We didn’t want to leave on a bad note. Not all our caught on LaView clips show negative IP camera footage. Look at this footage of a great delivery man caught on our ONE Peek Peephole Camera!
