Who is CARBON NEUTRAL?

Carbon Neutral is a profit-for-purpose carbon solutions provider and carbon project developer, motivated by a goal of reducing carbon emissions to promote a climate-friendly future. Carbon Neutral provide their clients, including us, with a clear path and better understanding of what’s involved so they can implement simpler solutions to reduce their impact on the climate.

How Plant-A-Tree Makes a Difference

It’s no secret that trees and plants are vital for life on our planet. Not only do they enhance air quality, trees also reduce erosion from wind and water and improve the soil, water and ecological condition of an area. Trees remove carbon dioxide from the atmosphere and convert it back into oxygen and water through photosynthesis. Over a life-time, a Eucalypt tree can remove nearly a tonne of carbon dioxide from the atmosphere whilst on average large shrub species can remove close to 500 kg of carbon dioxide.

Each year after the first rain of winter the Plant-A-Tree program re-plants mixed native species including eucalyptus, acacia, banksia and melaleuca to areas where more than 90% has been cleared for agriculture. The establishment of native plant species improves ecosystems and creates habitats for birds, insects and animals. The Plant-a-Tree Program aims to restore landscapes and reproduce natural ecosystems as best we can. So far, the team at Carbon Neutral have planted 30 million trees, restoring more than 13,000ha of cleared land.
