6 Style to Improve Your Wall Area With Wall Tapestries

When it comes to choosing what kind of wall decor you’re going to use in a room, the first thing to consider is what type of room you’re decorating. Is it more of a public space or a private space? Public spaces, like living rooms, should have art that enhances the theme or color scheme of the room; abstract art or framed art prints are a good choice here. Private spaces, like bedrooms or home offices, are the ones that better suited for more personal wall decor, like family photos.

Now since you have come to know what type of Wall decor you’re going with, let’s refine it a little further. Pick a color (or two, as long as they complement each other) and build around that. go with the most visual element color as your unifying factor rather than matching pieces by theme (which a lot of us tend to do).

So, folkes now time has come to share the beautiful ideas to decor your home:
1) Hang tapestry that is horizontal landscape:
Tapestries create expansive windows to another dimension. In case wall is the focal and you have a large wall then combine several smaller tapestries to fill the space. Consider hanging a horizontal landscape tapestry for smaller rooms with a perspective to make the room look wider. You can also place a vertical tapestry on a wall to intensify it, or at the end of a hallway to open it up. You bring a life to a corner with warmth by vertical wall hanging tapestries near a comfortable chair on the adjoining walls. It's all about creating an illusion of space.

2) Occupy most of space and skip 20%:
Firstly, sample out the designs and colors you want first, then consider the size. As per the architectural detail a tapestry should be scaled to the room and the wall and it should be neither too large nor too small. A normal or a standard rule is that it should occupy around 80% of the intended space. You can also have a look at window curtains to decor your home.

3) Hanging a tapestry behind furniture:
To notice an ordinary room by generating a striking center. An important heirloom or hanging a historical tapestry behind an antique piece of furniture will draw your attention to it. You can hang a tapestry above the fireplace and dine with quality of gracefulness with a tapestry hung near your dining room table.

Use the tapestry as the main
centre and position the rest of the the furniture or accessories around it. Using a mandala design tapestry on a bed, for example, will draw your attention to the bed as it will make it more entertaining, interesting and appealing.

4) Decorating a home by the ocean:
Tapestries tell a story. They represent picture of natural landscapes, historical time periods, religious themes, romantic settings and art from all genres. If you want to have a ocean look, for example, choose a seascape theme; select a Baroque tapestry to complement deep mahogany furniture.
One
can hang the diverse tapestries that are purchased while abroad to tell a story of where you've been. Indian tapestries add lively color, while those based on subjective reactions soften your walls. You can narrate a story that fits your personal style and one that also complements your existing furniture and home accessories.

5) Arrange the tapestry loosely or casually:
Some tapestries are simply meant to be arranged loosely or largely rather than hung on the wall; choose one that can be arranged casually over the piece of furniture.
A tapestry can be arrange loosely or casually over a sofa to add comfort and a punch of color. Arrange a tapestry casually over an old chair to give heighten it, or over a bed to add drama. You can arrange the tapestry by dressing up your dining room table or buffet with a twisted table runner. Cover an everyday coffee table or ottoman by draping a beautiful tapestry over it.

6) Mixing it up:
You have the wall decor you want. Now you even know to some extent that how you want to hang it. But you’re not finished yet. I do not think that now you want to fill a room solely with framed prints or metal wall art. You need to mix it up a little.
You can use candle wall sconces or ornamental metal art to accent it when hanging framed art or canvas art prints and set it apart. Don’t be afraid to fill in spaces with small, decorative mirrors just to break up the theme a little when creating collages of pictures on a wall. By hanging small shelves and placing decorative plates or small vases on them you can easily add dimension to a gallery of wall art.

Wrapping up:
No matter what you do, don’t settle on just one look for your room. Play around with different possibilities, and don’t be afraid to try something new or unexpected. Through wall decor you can add character to a room which is one of the easiest way and it’s a powerful and versatile tool. With enough practice, you can even use hippie wall tapestry.
