Awesome. I love this. I had a tempurpedic before this one and the Leesa is much better. Comes in a small box on your doorstep and expands. My back hurts constantly and this helps me wake up with no pain.

My wife and I were having issues with our traditional mattress. Whenever one of us tossed or turned in the night, we would wake each other up. After researching multiple beds and reading reviews of Leesa, we decided to try one out. In less than a week our sleep patterns had changed. Using fitness trackers to monitor our sleep, there has been a marked improvement since switching to Leesa. We are less restless at night and sleep for longer periods during the evening. The mattress is very comfortable. We have yet to wake up uncomfortable or sore. This is a great mattress and affordable. It shipped very quickly as well. I have zero complaint.

Streets ahead of my old spring mattress. Right off the bat, the single best quality of the Leesa mattress (and many others like it) is that it barely transmits any motion to the other side of the bed compared with most spring mattresses. If you’re irritated by your sleeping partner tossing around at night, don’t wait to switch.

It’s hard to say for sure, but I think it has started to sag slightly towards the middle since I got it six months ago. It’s still insanely better than my old mattress though, so I don’t mind it for now, and I haven’t done a head-to-head comparison with other memory foam mattresses. In the end, it’s not 100% perfect, but it’s still a very nice mattress.

I’m quite amused by people complaining that the mattress is too firm. It’s memory foam! When you first plop down on it, of course it’s going to feel firm until it adjusts to your shape and you sink in a bit. That’s just how this type of mattress works.

We have been sleeping on our Leesa mattress for almost 3 months now. The first week was pretty miserable. We both woke up stiff and sore, feeling muscles we didn’t even know existed. Thankfully I had read some reviews that had mentioned this as well, and they assured that once their bodies adjusted they slept very comfortably. After the first week, we noticed better and better sleep quality as our bodies adjusted to a new type of mattress. Even though it is a good overall mattress for the price point, there are a couple of things I should mention for other people who rely on reviews to help them make a good on line purchase. I do have constant back and neck pain, and sadly seem to be something of a “princess and the pea” sort of sleeper. My husband however can sleep on almost anything. We decided on the Leesa over the Casper because a few reviewers had mentioned that it is a little firmer than the Casper, and firmer is supposed to be better for people with back problems. Unfortunately, I find it a little too firm as I wake up with sore shoulders and hips. Not to mention I just wish for a little more soft, cozy comfort as I’m falling asleep and waking up. Also, we had read the top latex-like layer would sleep cool and that was really important to me. I was disappointed again because I feel like it sleeps hot rather than cool and find myself waking up to roll over to a cooler spot. My husband doesn’t notice it sleeping hot at all, so clearly it is a personal preference issue. When my husband called the company to inquire about a mattress pad that may make this bed a little softer and cooler, the person answering the phone could barely understand or speak English. Instead of helping to resolve our problem he was trying to sell my husband another mattress and they got nowhere. Next my husband contacted the company via live chat and he was directed to a mattress pad sold on Amazon that sells for several hundred dollars. Needless to say that is not exactly what we were hoping for when we just bought a new mattress. We are coming to the end of our 100 night trial now and need to make a final decision whether to keep it and invest in a mattress pad or send it back and try the Casper. I tried to leave this review directly on the email link the company sent to me, but the 5 star rating was already marked for me, and when I tried to click on the 3 star rating, it would not allow the change. I feel like I should mention some positives as well. It was delivered quickly as promised and set up was super easy. We didn’t notice any overwhelming smell as it aired out. It seems to be made of nice quality materials and we haven’t noticed any sink holes developing yet. My husband weighs about 100 lbs more than me and I am not rolling down into him all night long as I had been on every other mattress we’ve ever owned.

I purchased this product directly from Leesa, but hopefully it will help potential buyers here.

I wish there was two different ratings, one for the mattress and one for customer service, but there’s not. So let’s start with the mattress.

It came quickly (when it said it would). It was heavy (a king) but manageable. I put it in position and opened it. The bed opened up and rolled out just fine. I didn’t notice any smell to speak of. The first two nights I was sore, but I noticed the mattress continued to get thicker, until the third night. I liked the mattress, I would have given it a 4 or 5 star rating, but it didn’t work for my wife. So after about 40 nights we decided to return it.

This is where the 2 star rating begins. First, I contacted them with the chat feature. They first sent me several e-mails asking about 12 questions in total. They were multiple e-mails, so it was a little bothersome, but expected. I was not unhappy with that. Then they scheduled a pickup with a recycling company They were courteous and punctual. Still no issue.

The problems then continued. The mattress was picked up on a Thursday. I waited till the following Monday, then contacted the company, as I hadn’t seen an e-mail with a refund yet. They said they were unable to contact the company on Thursday, so they would try that day (what happened to Friday I don’t know). Later that day I got an e-mail saying I would be refunded $865. I had paid $915, I was confused. I contacted Leesa to ask what the situation was, and they told me that since I had received a $50 amazon card, I would not receive a full refund. I explained that I viewed that as an incentive to try their product, and their response was “It is for those who decide to keep the mattress.”

They claimed it was in the fine print, (which it may have been), but I definitely felt taken advantage of. I said that I was expecting to be refunded what I paid, to which they responded, “If we refund you $50 now, it would be like giving you $100” I’m not sure I agree with that, but she was adamant. Again, I guess I am responsible for reading the fine print, but I expected better.

The final blow was when I said their stance was going to sour what had otherwise been a pleasant transaction, and she replied “I’m sorry you see it that way :(” Yes, they blew me off while using a sad face emoji.

So, to rehash, the bed wasn’t bad at all, but be prepared to read the fine print. Also, don’t expect to much help or fantastic customer service on the return end. I’ve seen Leesa responses on other posts on here, and they seem flowery and sincere, but my experience is that those are mostly smoke and mirrors. If you like the mattress, you shouldn’t have any issues!

**I purchased this mattress directly from Leesa, not through Amazon.I have had this mattress for 11 months, and this is my first Leesa.

Initially, I would have given it 5 stars. It is firm enough to make me feel supported when I sleep on my back, but soft enough to comfortably sleep on my side. The cover material is so soft and cool to the touch that I went without a fitted sheet for several weeks because I loved its feel so much! Everyone who has sat on my bed agrees it the most comfortable mattress ever.

However, over the last several months it has started to sag dramatically. It probably compresses 5″ when I sit on it, vs 2″ when I first got it. The sag started to cause a pinching sensation in my back, and I wake up several times a night trying to readjust. I am a 100 lb woman and have never had this issue with a mattress before, even mattresses that were more than 5 years old. I really wanted to love it, but after less than one year of use it is already failing. The mattress was great at first, but not great enough to justify buying a new one every year. I am still giving it 3 stars because until it started to sag, it really helped me get the best sleep I’ve ever had.

Hopefully these top positive reviews and Leesa mattress complaints will help you make an informed decision based on the sleeping preferences of other people. To see more reviews, please visit Amazon.
