The much-talked about Movie ‘’The Martian’ finally hits the theatres. And here’s what the audience has to say:

The Red Planet has always fascinated the Hollywood filmmakers. Hence, the industry produced a dozen of Mars movies over the last few decades. Such movies enjoy an avid fan following and rake in plenty of bucks at the box office. This time again, Hollywood is back with one of its much-awaited Mars flicks-‘The Martian’, featuring Matt Damon, Jessica Chastain, Kristen Wiig, Jeff Daniels, and others. ‘The Martian’, released on October 8 (2015) is one of the much-hyped movies of the year that has managed to drum up a lot of public interest in NASA’s lofty Mars missions. The movie comes as a complete surprise package, and is enlivened by another stupendous performance from Matt Damon.

The story of ‘The Martian’ revolves around an astronaut named Mark Watney (Matt Damon) who gets stranded in Mars, and how he manages to survive with meagre supplies. On the other hand, Watney’s crew and a team of international scientists work tirelessly to bring him home alive. It is an impressive tale of Watney’s (Matt Damon) extreme optimism, courage, determination and most importantly, ingenuity. The movie boasts of an intriguing plot, rendered with Stunning Visual Effects and an amazing star cast.

‘The Martian’ need not be one of the greatest movies of all time, but it is definitely an awe-inspiring creation by Ridley Scott. It is certainly one of the must-watch movies this season.
