This week's Fashion Friday is brought to you from the great outdoors! Along with the darling miss Jenn, here are the ins and outs of how to stay fashionable yet functional when out in the woods.
1) Dress in layers!
Weather is notorious for changing dramatically and you don't want to be caught unawares. Dressing in layers allows for you to enjoy the heat of the day, but still have something toasty for campfire evenings. Here Jenn paired her Forever 21 shorts over leggings along with an Urban Outfitters sweater.
2) Wear good shoes!
I love my collection of heels as much as any city girl, but when out in the wilderness they just won't do. Uneven ground and long hikes require footwear that's up to the task. Boots are best, and my favorite are these black Steve Maddens from Modcloth.
3) Enjoy nature and have fun!
In the hustle and bustle of every day, it's easy to get swept away with meetings and deadlines. A camping trip is a great time to take a break and take advantage of all nature has to offer. Relax, put the phone away, go exploring and make some memories.
Happy weekend to you all!
