Removal of industrial machines – step by step
- First of all, a machine must be lifted with jacks in order to put it on special transport rollers. Rollers are blocked so they can only move forward, that provides safety and controlled transportation. Some rollers are wider. They are used for navigation of a heavy industrial machinery.
- After that, a machinery is connected with a certified rope to transport vehicle (the most common one is forklift). Now the machinery can be removed outside to a loading ramp or to another place in the same factory.
- When the machinery is placed on the ramp it can be moved up into the vehicle by using a crawn. The equipment is lifted directly from the transport rollers.
- The load now can be fastened by transport provider with special belts. That ensures that the equipment will stay still during the ride.
- After reaching the final destination, a machine is pulled down from the vehicle onto wooden pads and then it is placed again on transport rollers.
- Finally, the load can be delivered on the transport rollers to the new factory.

Do you want to hire a hauler to transport industrial equipment? These are things to remember:
- Transport rollers can be used only on a flat surface.
- Before you allow a transport provider to start the work make sure that a machine has been unplugged and therefore is disconnected from all external power sources. That is your duty as a customer to ensure safety environment.
- Be certain that hired transport provider uses only certified equipment.
- Make sure that among the removal team there is at least one person that has authorization to operate the forklift.
- If you hire a hauler to transport a printing press, don’t forget to remove containers with paint. Otherwise, the transport vehicle can be covered with it.
