The third quarter of 2017 witnessed a slight drop in sales prices majorly in upcoming communities compared to established areas. In established communities price remained reluctant to decrease due to limited availability and no scope for new development. Rents continued to show declines during the third quarter of the year for both apartments and villas with tenants being on the dominant side. New supply continued to enter the market in Q3, and majority of the completed units were apartments. The 2017 edition of Cityscape witnessed a strong sentiment from investors and developers and for the first time direct sale of stock was allowed during Cityscape, this was something new for the market and received a positive feedback.
