We aren’t bird enthusiasts, just tourists and I didn’t want to spend too much on binoculars for my kids. We were taking a trip to Europe and a friend recco’d getting binoculars for the kids to be able to see the architecture and sculptures at the tops of churches or to see the towns below us from the hillside overlooking them. These are great for both. We used them a lot. They work great and at the price point, they couldn’t have been a better investment.The string did disconnect from one side of one of the binoculars but I just need to screw it back on with a screw driver. I would buy this again if I had to!
