Can You Wait For Overwintering Pests To Be Gone?

Some people deal with Overwintering Pests every year. When temperatures drop, bugs hide. Sometimes they hide in our homes and businesses. When they do, they drive us a little bit crazy. But, many people put up with them. Are you one of them? If so, we get it. Bugs can feel like something we just have to deal with, especially if you've tried everything to seal your exterior walls, and those bugs keep coming in.

The resourcefulness bugs have for finding the tiniest holes in our exterior walls, rooflines, and eaves isn't the only thing that makes overwintering Pests a problem we just deal with. On some level, most people realize that those "special" bugs that get in during the late fall are not going to stay forever. They can't live in our homes. They just stay for the winter. But, while they stay, they can be frustrating. They dive bomb us on the way to the kitchen. They get on our food. They climb on the television or computer screen. They stain our curtains and furniture and sometimes cause a stink.

There are two things you need to know about overwinter pests. It is actually possible to seal these bugs out of your home. You don't have to deal with them every single winter. And, although overwintering pests will "eventually" die or leave on their own, you don't have to have dead bugs in your walls or wait for them to go. When you get help from a professional pest control company like Adam's Pest Control, you get rid of the bugs right now.

It is always best to stop bugs "before" they get in but that doesn't mean you should have to live with them until spring if they do. If you have boxelder bugs crawling in your curtains, lady bugs crawling on your windows, or springtails crawling on a moist carpet in a finished basement room, you can probably wait for those pests to be gone, but you don't have to. We can take care of the bugs, and address the issues that are allowing them to get in. And, if you address those pests now, you'll have fewer dead bugs in your walls--which is a big deal. Pests eat other pests. The last thing you need in your walls is more pest food.

End the cycle. Stop overwintering pests, and a whole host of other invasive bugs and wildlife, from getting into your home. Make 2017 the year you decide to start living without bugs and rodents.

Can you wait for overwintering pests to be gone? Some of them. But it is much better to get rid of all of them right now, with a little help from the educated and friendly pest professionals here at Adam's Pest Control.
