The Sea-Meow Convention, the Purrcific Northwest’s premier celebration of all things feline, will be held August 12-13 at the Seattle Center Exhibition Hall. This must-attend event brings together the best of the feline world, featuring cat-inspired art, celebrity cats, cat-themed merchandise, educational lectures, interactive panels, and opportunities for cat adoptions. A weekend-long celebration of all things cat that is sure to leave kitty lovers feline fine.

After a successful inaugural event in 2019, the Sea-Meow Convention returns to Seattle this summer, offering a bigger and better celebration of our furry companions. The convention will open its doors to cat enthusiasts across the region and beyond, providing a platform for fans to engage with each other while also supporting local artists, vendors, and animal rescue organizations.

Attendees who make the trek to the mecca of cat people can expect a furrbulous festival and will have the opportunity to explore a wide variety of cat-centric activities. The Meowchant marketplace will offer an assortment of cat-inspired art, crafts and goodies for both your cats and yourself. The Kitten Alley area will allow attendees to see or interact with kindles of cute kitties and potential adoptions. Meanwhile, the Purrformance Stage is packed full of fun and meaningful programs all weekend. Including cat themed live performances, Cat Cosplay Contest, the first Annual Cat Calling Contest, as well as education seminars and informative lectures that provide insights on a range of feline topics.

Many of your favorite cat welfare organizations will be there promoting their noble causes and sharing their visions to the public. 20% of your ticket sales are donated to these participating charities: Alley Cat Project, Ashley’s Kitten Academy, Beloveds Animal Rescue Relief Foundaion, Community Cat Coalition, Feral Care, Feral Cat Spay/Neuter Project, Homeward Pet Adoption Center Rainier Animal Fund, Seattle Animal Shelter Foundation, Seattle Area Feline Rescue, Seattle Humane Society, Snow Leopard Trust, South County Cats, South Sound Snip & Tip.
