Buy Rope will give away 100% of their profits made on Tuesday 8th of August for International Cat Day to celebrate humanity’s most ancient companion.

If you are a cat rescue centre or charity supporting the welfare of felines and you are in need of additional funds you can apply by following a couple of easy steps. The application is open to any UK charity.

Follow the steps below to apply:

• Go to Buy Rope’s Facebook page
• Find our post about this event
• Share the post publicly
• Collect as many likes as you can on your shared post until the 8th of August.

The donation will be sent to the organisation who gets the most likes on Facebook until the 8th of August. The results will be announced on the 10th of August.

What is International Cat Day?

August 8th was declared International Day of Cats by the International Fund for Animal Welfare in 2002. The aim of the event is to show appreciation to one of the most beloved pets known to humanity and to raise awareness of the importance of adoption and the protection of felines. It has since been celebrated by several animal welfare organisations and cat shelters everywhere around the world.
