Oia Santorini Photo Guide

We visited Santorini last month and took time to really explore and get to intimately know the town of Oia where we stayed for a week. Its white and pastel colored buildings, narrow streets, blue domes and red rocks hanging over the blue sea make it a dream destination for photographers and anyone looking to take family-album-worthy pictures.

If only visiting the island for a day, like most of the tourists arriving every morning with the cruise ships, the town might feel confusing and overwhelming with too many alleys and corners to explore and get “that shot”. But don’t worry, I’ve got you covered! I filmed a “follow-me-to” the best photo spots of Oia video Guide for you! Hope you find it useful, and if you know anyone heading to this gorgeous island soon, please share my guide with them!

I was thinking of describing the whole tour here, but Google maps is really not great for that area, you can’t find any sight or little street names on it. I guess that’s one of the reasons I even had to film the guide to at least make it all visual so you guys can follow it by recognizing the locations from the video as you go. Let’s just say we start at Ekklisia Panagia Platsani church/square and walk west from there! I mapped the rest of the stops on the map above, watch the video to see the details.
