Color Crush: Autumn Hues

Earlier this week, I wrote about interior decorating ideas to create a cozy fall atmosphere. Since the season starts tomorrow, I chose a festive fall photo for my Color Crush this week, too. Pumpkins, squash, and gourds are actually fruits (you learn something new every day!), mostly native to North America. They come in a huge variety of colors, from rich reds and spicy pinks to deep ochres, bright oranges, and pale yellows. This give you a lot of options when decorating with them or using them as a jumping off point for a room’s color scheme.

This photo offers a beautiful array of hues, from pale and medium greens and yellows and pink, to deeper, more saturated orange and red. I think fall colors are the most vibrant and soothing of any season. What do you think?
