This pattern is my go-to quilt project whenever I need a quick quilt for an occasion, or if I just want to pass the time. It’s also an extremely easy project so it’s perfect for beginners, but seasoned quilters will find this project fun to make too.

You can also use your pretty charm packs here. I bet this will look good on any fabric patterns you have. Try this quilt project today and see for yourself! Watch the video tutorial below to learn the step by step instructions. Thanks to Missouri Star for this fantastic quilting tutorial. Make sure to check the channel for more videos just like this.

Materials:

  • 1 pack of 10″ squares
  • 2 yards of background fabric
  • 1/2 yard binding fabric
  • 4 yards of backing fabric

Directions:

Step 1

First, grab a 10″ square and make three cuts across the square: cut it in half first, then cut the other half in two. Now, between these pieces, insert a saying strip. Sandwich all of these together and sew one after the other, then the other, until you have your block.
