How to Crochet a DIY Woven Dishcloth

If you’re into the hobby of crocheting and are looking for a new project that you could make, then check out this video tutorial by naztazia on YouTube, and give it a try this weekend. What I love about this DIY project idea is that it’s very quick and easy to make, and you can also make your version of this dishcloth as colorful as you want. This can be super useful in your kitchen but you can also give this as a gift to your loved one if you want. Learn how to Crochet this with the help of the step-by-step instructions demonstrated in the video. I hope you enjoy this handmade craft!

Materials:

  • 50 yards of worsted-weight cotton yarn
  • Crochet hook
  • Scissors

Directions:

Step 1

Make a chain of 23 using a size G and H crochet hook, then switch to a smaller G4 mm crochet hook, and make the rest of the green section. Skip the first chain and make one single crochet in each chain cross, then throughout the pattern use back loops only, and you should end up with a row of 22 single crochet stitches.

Step 2

Going forward for rows 1 to 6, chain one and then turn, using back loops only, make one single crochet in each stitch across. You can also make different colors for each section using the sake pattern and procedure, then piece them together as shown in the video, and continue until your Woven Dishcloth is done. Watch the video tutorial for more details.
