Running out of recipes for breakfast? Tired of eating the same thing in the morning? Try this super Fluffy French Toast by 여니쿡 Yeoni cook. It’s incredibly soft and tasty. Plus, it’s easy to make! Kids and even adults will love this snack. Read on or watch the video below for full instructions.

Ingredients

• two slices of bread
• two eggs
• 1/3 cup of milk
• four teaspoons of fresh cream
• one tablespoon of sugar
• half a teaspoon of salt
• unsalted butter

For the triple berry compote:

• frozen triple berries
• 1 1/2 tablespoons of sugar

Instructions

Step 1:

Start by removing the crust of the bread slices.

Step 2:

In a measuring cup, add 2 eggs, 1/2 teaspoon of salt, 1 tablespoon of sugar, 1/3 cup of milk, and 4 teaspoons of fresh cream. Whisk until well combined. Transfer some of the mixture to a flat bottomed container.

Step 3:

Place one slice of bread and pour a little bit of the mixture on top. Next, add the other slice of bread and pour the remaining mixture. Let the bread soak into the mixture by flipping on all sides. Set it aside.

Step 4:

Make the berry compote. Add the triple berry and sugar in a small saucepan over low heat. Let it come to a boil. When it’s bubbling, boil it for another 5 minutes.

Step 5:

Place a skillet over heat with a little bit of oil. Once hot, add the soaked 2 layers of bread and toast until brown on all sides. When the bread is almost cooked, add a little bit of butter and cook for a few minutes more.

Step 6:

Transfer the toast to a plate. Garnish with the compote on top and sprinkle powdered sugar. Serve and enjoy while warm!
