Ingredients You Need to Make Pumpkin Spice Latte
- one cup of almond milk
- two tablespoons of pumpkin puree (you can use canned or fresh, depending on your preference)
- two teaspoons of maple syrup
- 1/2 teaspoon of pumpkin pie spice
- 1/2 teaspoon of vanilla extract
- 1/2 cup of strong brewed coffee or two shots of espresso
- freshly grated nutmeg (optional)
Instructions
Step 1:
In a small saucepan over medium heat, combine one cup of almond milk, two tablespoons of pumpkin puree, two teaspoons of maple syrup, 1/2 teaspoon of pumpkin spice, and 1/2 teaspoon of vanilla. Whisk everything until well combined. Once the milk begins to simmer, turn off the heat and transfer it to a blender.
Step 2:
Add 1/2 cup of strong brewed coffee or 2 shots of espresso to the blender and blend the mixture for about 10 seconds or until it becomes light and frothy. If you’re going to serve this to your kids, be sure to skip the coffee.
Step 3:
Pour into your mug and garnish with freshly grated nutmeg on top before serving. Enjoy while warm!
