Ingredients:
- 1 lb breakfast sausage
- 6 eggs
- 1 cup of half and half
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/4 tsp ground black pepper
- 1/4 tsp onion powder
- 1/4 tsp paprika
- 1 cup of Colby Jack cheese, shredded
- 1 cup of mozzarella cheese, shredded
- 16 refrigerated crescent rolls (two tubes of eight rolls)
- 1 green onion, thinly sliced
Directions:
Step 1
Preheat the oven to 375 degrees F and grease your casserole dish with some non-stick cooking spray. Set it aside. Next, cook the breakfast sausage in a pan over medium-high heat, then set it aside. In a bowl, crack six eggs, then add 1 cup of half and half, 1/2 tsp salt, 1/4 tsp ground black pepper, 1/4 tsp onion powder, and 1/4 tsp paprika. Mix well until combined, then add 1 cup of shredded Colby Jack cheese and 1 cup of shredded mozzarella cheese. Continue mixing until just combined, then set aside.
Step 2
Next, roll up the crescent rolls and place them in your prepared casserole dish. Once done, layer the cooked breakfast sausage, and then the cheese mixture. Spread evenly, then place the casserole dish in the preheated oven at 375 degrees F and bake for 25 minutes. After baking, garnish it with chopped green onions and serve.
