As the Fall season draws near, a lot of DIY decors are now being recommended on my TikTok feed, like these balloon pumpkins from @createdbyandi. These pumpkins are easy to make and also inexpensive, with all the materials found in Dollar Tree. This will be the perfect DIY project to do with your friends over the weekend, don’t you think? And this will look absolutely stunning anywhere in your home. Try making them today! Watch the video tutorial below to learn the step by step instructions.
Materials:
- ballons
- stuffed toy stuffing
- scissors
- jute twine
- mesh tube
- floral wire
- hot glue gun
- wood stick
Directions:
TikTok user @createdbyandi started off the project by cutting half of the neck part of the balloon and then filling it with some stuffed toy stuffing. Once he’s satisfied with the size of the pumpkin, he then wraps some jute twine on it, creating the shape of the pumpkin. After this, he cut off the excess and tied a knot to secure it.
Next, he cut some mesh tube, inserted a floral twine, and secured the end with hot glue. After this, he twirled it and then glued it on top of the pumpkin. Finally, he adds some small pieces of untwirled twine for added design and a wood stick in the middle. (Repeat these steps to make as many as you like.)
