6 Anti-Inflammatory Immune-Boosting Wellness Shots

Get your energy boost with these 6 anti-inflammatory immune-boosting wellness shots by Kayla Chandler! They are all easy to make, inexpensive, and definitely better than the ones in the store. Drink these to improve your immune system and nourish your body.

Ingredients

Lemon ginger wellness shot

  • 2 oranges (peeled and roughly chopped)
  • 2 lemons (peeled and roughly chopped)
  • 5 inches of ginger root (roughly chopped)
  • 2 to 3 inches of turmeric root or 1 teaspoon of dried turmeric
  • 1/4 teaspoon of black pepper
  • 1 cup of coconut water

Pineapple mint wellness shot

  • 4 cups of pineapple (roughly chopped into cubes)
  • 1/2 cup of fresh mint leaves
  • 1 lemon (peeled and roughly chopped)
  • 5 inches of ginger root (roughly chopped)
  • 1 cup of coconut water

Everything green wellness shot

  • 1 green apple (roughly chopped)
  • 6 celery stalks (roughly chopped)
  • 1 to 2 cucumbers (roughly chopped)
  • 1 cup of spinach
  • 1 cup of parsley
  • 1 to 1.5 cups of water

Berry beet energy wellness shot

  • 2 beets (peeled and cubed)
  • 2 cups of strawberries (stem removes and roughly chopped)
  • 1 lemon (spelled and roughly chopped)
  • 1 orange (peeled and roughly chopped)

Carrot apple turmeric wellness shot

  • 5 to 7 carrot stalks (roughly chopped)
  • 1 apple (roughly chopped)
  • 5 inches of ginger root (roughly chopped)
  • 2 to 3 inches of ginger root (roughly chopped)
  • 2 to 3 inches of turmeric root
  • 1/4 teaspoon of black pepper
  • 1.5 to 2 cups of water

Immune boosting elderberry wellness shot

  • 2 cups of blueberries
  • 1 cucumber (roughly chopped)
  • 1 lemon (peeled and roughly chopped)
  • 5 inches of ginger root
  • 1 to 1.5 cups of water

Instructions (for all wellness shots)

Step 1:

Add the ingredients to a high-speed blender and blend until smooth.

Step 2:

Place a nut milk bag, fine mesh strainer, or triple layers of cheesecloth in a large bowl and pour the mixture into it. Slowly squeeze all of the juice out until you only have the pulp.

Step 3:

Once strained, transfer it to your 2 oz shot jars. You can store it in the fridge for up to 7 days and in the freezer for up to 7 days.

Note: the glass she jars are not freezer-friendly.
