Jaspillite: A Gemstone

Jaspillite is also known as itabirite, its a Chemical rock created similar to chert. It is quite rich in iron.

It is also known as jasper taconite. Jaspillite is a mixture of Hematite and quartz most common in the iron formations rock of Proterozoic and Archean eras in the Canadian shield.

Jaspillite is formed as exhaling vents expels matter such as volcano or hot water chemical sediments in certain lead and zinc are deposited. As a hydrothermal alteration facies around submarine volcanism.

Jaspillite is a strong stone. It is supposed to give you balance to your life and even keep you focused. It is a beautiful red color, some people use it in jewelry wile others place it in there homes as a decoration.
