Belle Meade / West Meade
Situated about 8.5 miles southwest of Nashville, the neighboring communities of Belle Meade and West Meade offer a mix of luxury homes on large lots, paired with stunning natural scenery. Belle Meade operates as an autonomous city, with its own historic street signage, mayor and police force, but remains integrated with Nashville’s government. The city has just over 3,000 residents and its land area covers a little more than 3 square miles. “Belle Meade” is French for “beautiful meadow,” which perfectly describes the landscape of this scenic area. Here, you’ll find opulent high-end properties, many of which enjoy expansive lots with old-growth trees.
