Will Bicester Village Outlet Shopping Centre remain a destination shopping centre? A Feng Shui Analysis.

It is an Outlet Shopping Centre in the outskirts of Bicester, a town in Oxfordshire, UK.

The Village was completed in 1995 and expanded in 2015 with the demolition of the neighbouring Tesco store.

The village has a train station (Bicester Village) adjacent to the Outlet centre. Also, there is a direct and daily coach service from London.

The outlet village has grown beyond all recognition since its opening. Parking spaces for cars and coaches are plentiful.

It has become a destination for many visitors from abroad. I have friends from Malaysia and Singapore who make it a point to spend at least a day for their discount shopping in their brief holiday to the UK.

The unique selling point of the village is that the goods available are at the top end of the luxury market.

The outlet centre is the second most visited location for Chinese tourists. Their coach parties are organised like a military operation. In the guide's briefing, he suggests going to the luggage store first to get a suitable case, then the different stores for certain products. The guide is also able to get additional discounts in particular stores.

The layout of the Bicester village Outlet centre is like a castle with two entrances in the front as shown in the image. The front of the Outlet faces the Northeast direction.

In feng shui, there is a 180-year cycle comprising nine 20 year cycles. Each cycle is known as a Period. Each Period has predominant energy coming from a particular direction.

Period 8 is from 2004 to 2024. The predominant energy comes from the Northeast.

I would therefore expect the Bicester Outlet village to do extremely well in this Period.

However, there would be a gradual decline after 2025, and by 2030, it would not be a shopping destination as now.
