South Korean Artists are Coming to Town

South Korea’s Asia Artist Awards (AAA) will be held at the Philippine Arena in Bocaue, Bulacan, on December 14 for the first time. It is considered Asia’s Oscars and Grammy Awards and recognizes Asian artists in music, television, and film. This ceremony is done yearly and graced by Korean actors, artists, and other Asian stars.

With a seating capacity of over 50,000, the Philippine Arena is the world’s largest mixed-use indoor theater, according to the Guinness World Records.

Last year’s AAA Award Show

Last year’s aaa or the Asia Artist Awards occurred in Nippon Gaishi Hall in Nagoya, Japan, where actor Lee Jun-ho and K-pop groups Seventeen, NewJeans, Stray Kids, and IVE were declared big winners.

Star News will serve as the event’s host and is to be co-hosted by the Asia Artist Awards Organizing Committee, TONZ Entertainment, and local concert promoter PULP Live World.

IVE’s Jang Won-young, soloist Kang Daniel, and ZEROBASEONE’s Seong Han-bin will host the event.

2023 Asia Artist Awards Ceremony

As of September, confirmed artist lineup of K-pop groups and artists to perform at the upcoming aaa awards night are NewJeans, LE SSERAFIM, NMIXX, BOYNEXTDOOR, ZEROBASEONE, Stray Kids, ITZY, Dreamcatcher, The Boyz, Kwon Eun-bi, Kim Jae-joong, Dindin, Lee Young-ji, KARD, Ash Island, Yaochen, STAYC, Kep1er, Lapilus, TEMPEST, &TEAM, SEVENTEEN’S BSS (BooSeokSoon), Kingdom, LUN8, ATBO, and ONEUS. Singers from South Korea will literally flood the stage with their music and performance. Filipino fans are in for an amazing award show they will not forget.

SB19 and HORI7ON will also be included as Filipino acts in the lineup. 

Meanwhile, popular Korean actors known for k dramas be will also attending the event such as Kim Seon-ho, Moon Ga-young, Ahn Hyo-seop, Kim Se-jeong, Lee Dong-hwi, Cha Joo-young, Lee Jun-hyuk, Lee Eun-sam, Lee Jun-ho, Jung Sung-il, Kim Young-dae, Kwon Eunbi, Lee Jun-young, Yao Chen, Lee youngji, Moon Sang-min, Yoon Seon-ho, Ahn Dong-goo, and Park Jae-chan.
