Ben Norton qualifies as a Chartered Town Planner

Norton elected as Member of the RTPI

Norton Taylor Nunn are proud to announce Ben Norton Qualifies as a Chartered Town Planner. He was elected to the membership of the Royal Town Planning Institute in May this year. The accolade shows that Mr. Norton has successfully demonstrated to his peers that he has the requisite knowledge and skills to be a Chartered Member of the main regulatory body for planners.

Professional Standards

The RTPI is a Chartered Institute, responsible for maintaining the professional standards and accrediting world class planning courses both nationally and internationally. It’s charitable purposes is to advance the science and art of planning (including town and country and spatial planning) for the benefit of the public, and it is a learned society. Chartered membership signifies that its holder has knowledge, skills and competence in spatial planning in appropriate depth and detail. Members may use the post-nominals MRTPI.

Ethical Town Planning

Since Norton Taylor Nunn was founded, we’ve applied the ethical framework mandated by the RTPI for members in any event. Now our Planning Director, Ben Norton, qualifies as a Chartered Town Planner. We will continue to ensure that we always fearlessly and impartially apply our professional judgment. This is in accordance with the Code for Professional Conduct adopted by the RTPI. This means that we will only take cases where we feel we can add value to the application, appeal, or objection. If we do not think you have a case, we will tell you so.
