It’s an unusual name that just so happens to be tied to one of the hottest ‘hoods in Naples. Technically some say the word Lemuria can be traced back to a continent that now sits under the ocean. Some believe Lemuria was the actual birthplace of mankind. Over time, the legend of the lost continent evolved into one describing a place where an advanced society of people lived together in harmony and peace. It’s interesting then, that the name of such a mystical place would be chosen to represent a community in the heart of Naples.  Originally constructed in the mid 2000s, the community of Lemuria is close to some of the best offerings in Naples, but also delivers its own peaceful location to call home. While the homes are certainly impressive, the amenities are also a major draw. Residents share access to a community swimming pool and lighted Har-Tru tennis courts. Lemuria also offers a clubhouse with a fitness center and billiards room. In addition, the property includes a gazebo and a community grill. The gated community of Lemuria sits a short distance from Gulf beaches.
