While some of the first homes went up more than three decades ago, the Pinecrest community at Pelican Bay continues to evolve today. Some of the older homes in this single-family home community have been torn down in recent years and rebuilt, oftentimes with around 2,000 to 3,000 square feet of living space. Some of the homes of Pinecrest back to lake or landscaped views, making them that much more desirable. The Pinecrest community sits off Ridgewood Drive and is part of the much larger Pelican Bay development of Naples. Other options include a tennis pro shop, an art studio, and some meetings rooms.  The community center also routinely hosts events, dinners, and festivities throughout the year. The property provides private beach access to a north and south beach for sunning, kayaking, sailing, and more, with a convenient open-air tram system that features eight stations throughout the community. There’s also the advantage of miles upon miles of biking, jogging, and walking paths that wind throughout Pelican Bay. The private Club Pelican Bay makes it convenient for golfers to get in a game without venturing far from home, as it sits right inside Pelican Bay, too. Access to the golf club is not an included amenity, but there are some membership opportunities. As one of the many neighborhoods of Pelican Bay, the entire development is home to around 6,500 residences, ranging from single-family homes, like those in Pinecrest, to condos and high-rise condos. This means living within biking distance of the beach, as well as close to area restaurants and shops, and just west of US-41.
