Recently I posted a photo on Instagram of a bathroom shower where someone used a black and white Chevron Tile on the walls. People loved it, so it inspired me to write a post showcasing some of my favorite high contrasting tiles that you can use in your bathroom, or anywhere in your home. See below for my top 11 black and white tile selections.

Chevron
This is the tile pattern that inspired this blog post. It looks pretty cool on a larger scale. It looks like they used the same tile on the Floor, they just turned it to create a diamond pattern.
Petal
This one uses black as the overall background with a pop of white/grey to create the petal pattern. Great statement tile.
Moroccan
Love Moroccan inspired patterns. This is so fun outdoor! Totally transforms this space.
Abstract wall tile
This is the only tile on this blog post that is for the wall only. It's peel and stick. But that's so cool- you can use it on a bedroom wall behind your headbaord, or maybe above the mantel in your living room, or hey- maybe you can use it to update your plain kitchen cabinets. The options are endless!
Geometric
Love the borders created by the black accent in this tile. This actually reminds me of a Kitchen remodel by Jess at Nest Studio. She used a stencil to paint the pattern onto her floors, rather than ripping up all the tiles and re-tiling with something new. A pattern like this would be fairly easy to stencil.
French Moroccan
Fleur-de-lis. I love this because it reminds me of New Orleans, which is where I am from originally. I think its cool that they put a Moroccan twist on it.
Classic Checkerboard
This is so classic, and when you do a blog post about high contrast floor tile you have to include black and white checkerboard.
Diamond, Square, Chevron, Stripe, Diagonal
This tile is worth sharing because depending on how you lay it out, it creates so many different patterns. A lot of bang for you buck.
Small square
What I like about this floor tile is that it is a spin on the round penny tiles. Love the square shape, it feels more updated but still classic.
Aztec
Need a little bit of Aztec inspiration in your life? This is the perfect tile just for that! I love the funkiness of this tile. It's unexpected and I haven't seen many tiles like it.
Retro
Lastly, this tile is very cool and retro. Love the bubbles, and like the randomness of the pattern. This could be cool in a shower, on a floor, etc. It could be another way to update that classic penny tile look but in a different way. Can you picture it?
