Pick of the Papers… The Festive Edition

So, as it’s Christmas I figured I would do a pick of the papers with a difference… wrapping papers. Gift wrapping is one of my favorite things about Christmas, as bad as this might sound, it’s almost more exciting than whats inside!

Here are my top picks this festive season…

1. Copper wrapping paper, £12.50 for 10 meters from  Cox & Cox

I actually had this wrapping paper last year and I am so in love with  the fact it’s doubled sided. With the metallic one side coupled with the deep purple of the other, it screams luxury. I attempted to get all arty with a bit of wrapping paper fancy folding to reveal some of the purple which looked fab. It’s not the cheapest of papers but oh so worth it.

2. Stars wrapping paper, £12.50 for 10 meters from Cox & Cox

Staying with Cox & Cox I had to include this starry gift wrap. There is no doubt that Grey is on trend in the interiors world so why not carry this trend onto your Christmas wrapping, Grey plus over sized stars is a winner with me.

3. Chalkboard Wrapping paper, £2.99 for 2 sheets from Not On The High Street

I’m loving this alternative to a traditional Christmas wrapping paper. Each pack also contains a chalk pencil so you can get creative and create your own unique patterns or just save yourself the cost of gift tags! I also like that if you have any spare once Christmas is over, the paper can be used all year around!

4. Astro Christmas Roll, £3.75 for 3 metres (also in 3 for 2 offer) from Paper chase

This is wrapping paper of choice this year. Mostly because I’m a lover of the whole ‘brown paper packages tied ups with string’ thing but also because Mr. Matt is into his astronomy. You can’t see it from the images, but the Astro pattern is actually glossy which just adds that little bit of something to this otherwise super simple wrap.

5. Robin and Holly Christmas wrapping paper, £1.45 per sheet from JaneCrick at Etsy

I love the retro feel to this paper plus as it’s not ready available on the high street your it feels the extra bit personal. It’s hand printed on 90 gsm paper so will feel super luxurious. I love a traditional Christmas and this paper just fits perfectly. A traditional Christmas with a twist.

Well that’s my pick of the Christmas papers all wrapped up, hopefully this will be my gift to you which helps you find that extra special paper for those extra special people in your life.

That’s a wrap
