Chocolate Fest

Head on down to the Oregon Convention Center, January 20th-22nd for Chocolate fest to taste and savor some of the finest chocolate and wine from the Northwest and beyond. Portland’s Chocolatefest is produced, run, and staffed by the World Forestry Center, so 100% of the proceeds go right back into educating denizens of Portland about the world’s forests, trees, and environmental stability. What started in 2006 has grown steadily over the years to become a certified Pac-Northwest tradition. Now, nearly 10,000 chocolate lovers make their way to Portland to enjoy this fun and educational event.

Oregon Truffle Festival

Here’s a Portland event for you fine diners out there. As the first truffle festival in the English-speaking world, the Oregon Truffle Festival offers a culinary experience for Portland that simply cannot be found anywhere else. An international event that joins truffle fanciers and truffle experts from all over the world in ten days of celebration, educational seminars, and hands-on experiences, this Portland Food event has been around for more than decade, acting as a leading voice for the ever-growing American truffle industry. But more than that, it’s a thrilling Portland food festival that’s likely to sell out of dinners and tastings each year. First Taste Oregon

The 12 annual PDX Wine and Seafood Festival  

This Portland Food event actually kicks off at the very forefront of February, on the 3rd and 4th, but we couldn’t resist – it’s just too good to miss! Make your way down to the Oregon Convention Center to sip some of Oregon’s best wines while indulging in all the fresh coastal seafood and culinary delights. Luckily, for both the convention’s exhibitors and attendees, the 12th Annual Seafood & Wine fest falls smack dab in the middle of Dungeness Crab season. The annual food event is held each winter to help raise money for the Oregon MS chapter. Overall there are 50 wineries that come from all over Oregon to showcase some the state’s finest wine, along with Seafood of course, and live music! You can’t miss it!
