Last Sunday in January

It is not the prettiest Photo but it is the first blossom on my English primrose.
These are the primroses I took out of the window box to winter over on the backyard patio.  They don't take our 100-Degree summers in full sun too well.

So, how are you all doing?

I'm fine and enjoying the beautiful spring weather we are having. So far it is 74 degrees. That will abruptly change soon - rain is in the forecast. I love how God gives us a day of sunshine after a day of rain and clouds. I can have all the windows open - the air smells so fresh. It truly is a glorious day!

The walk around the yard - fresh photos taken 10 minutes ago!

These wild marigolds always please me.

The Irises are poking through...

Rosemary always blooms in the winter.

Turn up your speakers to hear the buzz of the bees...

How doth the little busy bee
Improve each shining hour,
And gather honey all the day
From every opening flower!

It's hard to believe that, January is almost over. Seems just like a couple of weeks ago, we were taking down our Christmas decorations. February always goes by too fast for me - although this year it has that additional leap-year day!  Maybe we'll get some snow in February like we did last year. That would be most welcome.

I better get out there and sit in that warm sun before the clouds start rolling in and turn to rain.

Take Care -and Happy Sunday.
Debby
