2. Break the ice, on thin ice, ice skating, tip of the iceberg, ice cold...which icy idiom applies to your life right now? Explain. 

I feel like I am on thin ice when it comes to taking the driver's exam. They kept renewing me. It was great at the time - now not so much. 

3. What's a project you've been putting off? Will you get to it this month? This year?

Not so much, putting it off. I want to paint my walls - hallway, bedroom, bathroom, new floor in bathroom - stain my china cabinet and chairs. I've always had some projects going on. 

I need to call a floor contractor to get an estimate on repairing our wood flooring and sanding and staining. 

I hope I can do at least one thing this month. Seems like the only thing on my mind now, is PASS THAT EXAM! 

4. Of the fruits that grow well in winter which ones have you tried? Which is your favorite? pomegranates, clementines, persimmons, passion fruit, pears, grapefruit, lemons, pomelos, kumquats

pomegranates, clementines, persimmons - grapefruit, pears and lemons. I don't have much of a sweet tooth the older I get. I prefer savory to sweets. 

5. What do you think it means to be courageous? 

Boldly standing up for yourself and others when it is not popular to do so.

Not much on my mind right now - except for trying to retain all that I am reading from the California Drivers Handbook. I get test anxiety - I'm a fairly laid-back person but I'm allowing this dumb exam to take up too much head space. Yeah, I have to study but I shouldn't worry about it. That's what I have to keep telling myself. 

My son stopped by yesterday after work to pick up our gift for his wife's birthday. We had a nice chat. He and my husband are talking about fishing - Navy got a new fishing rod and reel.
