My mini roses

All is well here today. The husband's Appointment has been rescheduled. The weather has sure changed. It's 46 as a high! I'm freezing. It's also been raining on and off all day and it looks like a Rainy week. I'm thinking if it gets any colder, we could have snow. (wishful thinking) This darkish cold rainy weather, I confess makes me lazy. After my appointment, I wanted to stay home all cozy. But I made myself go to my other commitment and as always, glad that I did. I'm home now to stay.

Susie continues to do well - for which I am very thankful.

I haven't heard anything back from my sister-in-law and her procedure - we agreed we'd wait a couple of days because she didn't know how she would be feeling afterward.

The Beef Vegetable soup was very good - and perfect for these rainy days.

Last night we finished up the Japanese series on "The Days".
The Fukushima Daiichi nuclear accident in 2011 was unique because it was started by a natural disaster: a massive earthquake that touched off a tsunami. A new drama about the disaster goes into lots of detail about the critical decision-making in the accident’s aftermath.

We enjoyed it. It's suspenseful and frustrating - talk about a bad day at the office! It's 8 episodes - and truly gives a detailed account of what happened. I believe the workers were heroes and the political powers that be, were absolutely clueless.

I can see where it is not for everyone - but we both were on the edge of our seats during every episode don't watch it before you go to bed - you need to calm down first. It's that riveting.

And like most non-Hollywood movies, the critics picked it over but the actual viewers gave it a 7. The way I pick a Movie is, if the critics hate it, I'm more inclined to watch it and give my review.
