Little by Little and a Question

Today, I got out a few decorations - Can't Forget my rag Santa. He looks good for being at least 33 years old. As I trickle in the Christmas decor, he will oversee the next few days.

Already there were some things I decided not to display this year.

Once the Hanukkah decor is put away, I can decorate that table. I did take down a couple of paintings and replaced them with wintery ones.

This was a gift from my Nanny family one year. It comes in a beautiful burgundy velvet box. It has its own stand.

The husband is out mowing the lawns and blowing the leaves - We're supposed to get some rain and wind this week.  It was a mess out there and we kept tracking in leaves...

I just finished my Bible Study Fellowship lesson - and I'm enjoying a hot cup of apple cider. It was a beautiful mild and sunny day when I went to Costco but now, hours later it is getting overcast.

I have a question for some of you who are retired.

What time do you eat dinner?

I want to start having dinner earlier so that we can move around, take a walk, etc...I am finding my tummy does better with an earlier dinner. It's an adjustment. I still forget and like the creatures of habit that we are, we keep sitting down to eat at 5-6pm. I'm hoping to get into the practice of eating between 4-5pm. Many of our friends don't eat till 7pm. I just don't like cleaning the kitchen that late when I am starting to get tired. As a morning morning person, I get up between 5:00 and 6am.
Especially when we are in bed by 9-9:30.

Anyway, just wondering...
