This is one of my husband's tallits. It's very special to his heart because it was made by his oldest sister who has since passed and was made from, pieces of Clothing from 2 of his grandmothers, 1 great grandmother, and his mother.
The blue is part of a petticoat!
The other star is the star/seal of Solomon.
His tallit bag, again, scrapped together with bits of clothing from prior generations and his kippah.
My son, Navy, and his wife asked my husband to "cover" and bless their marriage.
In these uncertain times it’s comforting to have generational traditions where one can find comfort.
