The last of the sunflowers

Another HOT day here in the Golden State.  A bit Cooler at 108 but will be 111 by the heat of the day which is around 4-5 pm.

If these Sunflowers could talk -

"Water...Water."

They've had it.

The fish don't care - here it is 108

and they are just enjoying their watery environment.

There is one day next week, that might get down to the 80s.

This morning I went to the store and it was already stifling hot - an oven-like dry breeze of hotness.

The husband and Navy are leaving out soon - for their Hike up to the Volcanic peak at 10,457 elevation.  They will start their sunset to moon rise hike up the mountain around 2pm tomorrow and watch the sunset - then come down by moonlight.

They are looking at cooler temps - about 89 during the day as they start out and it drops down to the mid-'50s. Sounds like Heaven...
