Nothing really changes much

The week goes by so fast, that it almost confuses me.
 I keep thinking it's Thursday...

  • The Kennedy Fire we had Yesterday is contained - to 35 acres. It was a  fright because of what happened back in 2018. It burns in the old burn scar, making it easier to control and fight. They use these hoses to place around the diameter of the smaller fires.

  • The heat hasn't let up - yesterday around 111 and today is supposed to get up to 107. It's humid for us at 26%. We can definitely feel it. I went to the store today early and everyone was commenting on how muggy it is.

  • Foodie's Juiced Bike was delivered - and the husband put it together for him yesterday. Nice looking bike. Foodie spent the afternoon hanging out with us and that is always nice.

  • The husband has been out in the early morning scraping the side of the trim where the sun bakes it dry -  He patched scraped, patched yesterday, and then painted today. He has another side that needs that done so he'll do that Monday.

  • The lamp is coming along but I haven't finished yet - probably next week. I want to order the 2 new lamp shades as well before taking a Photo

ONE YEAR AGO

These photos came up on my google photos -

The Dixie Fire.

With many fires in an area - you're going to be inundated with smoke.

The smoke gets trapped here - we're at the very north end of the Central Valley  -

Foodie took these photos -

I will say, they are nice photos.

The bottom of the photo is the Aquatic center - by the river.

You can see where the one pool was being resurfaced.

I remember that day - It was surreal.

That's about it for me today. I hope you all have exciting plans or not, for this coming weekend. I'd love to get out and boogie but I'm so tired of the heat - we'll probably just lay low at home.
