I think comfort is the key for a functional Living Room. And in this case, comforts mean a cosy sofa and enough empty space in order to feel the eye and the body free in their motion.
I usually do this when decorating my Living room. I put all the decorative things that I want (and I usually want to add a lot of things...) and then I remove the half of them in order to make my place feel more spacious! What do you think?
