After the compact Audi Q2 production, Audi has announced its special version of the smallest member of the Q-line called Edition # 1. The main differences from the usual Audi Q2 are several visual enhancements and an expanded list of standard equipment.

Apparently, Audi’s following the footsteps of its eternal rival: Mercedes-Benz Edition 1 is available only for 12 months of production, whereas, Audi doesn’t say for how long it will offer the special edition.

Compact Audi Q2 Edition # 1 will receive the anthracite black, 19-inch wheels with a five-arm rotor design originate from Audi Sport, LED headlights and taillights. Lanterns, in addition, have dynamic direction indicators, which should in particular look spectacular at night.

Q2 Edition # 1 also received S line exterior trim package, adding sports bumpers and side skirts, rear diffuser and black caps mirrors to the urban Crossover. The lower part of the Q2 received special Manhattan Gray dark finish, and, the body is painted in Quantum Gray color.

There are no pictures of the interior yet, but it has been reported that the Edition # 1 will have height-adjustable sport seats adorned in black and amaretto leather. A multifunction steering wheel dressed in leather as standard, illuminated aluminum door sills with the ‘S’ logo and an ambient lighting package with LEDs.

Audi will begin taking orders for Q2 Edition # 1 at the beginning of the next month and will be selling the special version crossover with all engines available in the conventional model.
